Looking to see if anyone knows anything about a recently acquired microphone I have. It is a Fender by AKG made in Austria. Model F-520. It has a wooden handle and is in excellent shape.
To Whom It May Concern:
I own a C-414-EB microphone.
However, I also have it mounted inside the AKG H-17-A windscreen.
My problem is as follows:
The elastic suspenders for the windscreen mount have lost their elasticity.
I cannot find a replacement part for the suspenders, can you advise?
Thank you,
Bob Gerardi
Hi Bob,
I have the same problem with my H17A.
I'm going to try 'O' rings from the plumbing department of my local hardware store.
I'm guessing it's durable. It comes in many sizes so good luck.
My guess is that this is from 1982 or later because on page 9 it says "During the second half of 1982 AKG introduced its new 460B preamplifier..."
