Hi Bob,
I have the same problem with my H17A.
I'm going to try 'O' rings from the plumbing department of my local hardware store.
I'm guessing it's durable. It comes in many sizes so good luck.

To Whom It May Concern:
I own a C-414-EB microphone.
However, I also have it mounted inside the AKG H-17-A windscreen.
My problem is as follows:
The elastic suspenders for the windscreen mount have lost their elasticity.
I cannot find a replacement part for the suspenders, can you advise?
Thank you,
Bob Gerardi
