miki,

I have just bought a non-working DL-4 and hope to repair it. Any chance you still have those schematics?
Thanks, Bob

Just obtained an Effectron 256 and it has ben FUN to use. I recently got back in to playing the electric guitar and turntables. And it has provided a nice learning curve.

Since it is part of a wonderful history, I hope it keeps on trucking. And if need be, I'll take some advice in the above thread about changing the pots one day. So far no leakage or fractures.

Not jinxing myself ;)

Thank you for sharing some history on this blog.

IS there anything that compares to the old ADM 1024 Effectron 2?
I have 2 of these, and they behave erratically. I don't believe they can be fixed.....

In reply to <a href="https://www.preservationsound.com/effectron-digital-delays-original-catalog/#comment-610425">Mac Gyver</a>.

Hi Mac, you’re correct. The Effectron 256 was the initial Effectron issued to market. The line was later expanded and rebranded with Roman numeral suffixes and included upgrades including audio enhancements for better sound.

I worked at DeltaLab in the early 80’s as a technician building, testing, and repairing the units. So nice to see these systems have stood the test of time. Mr. DeFreitas (founder and chief engineer) would be proud to see his designs are still making music (his first love).

Rock on!

I worked at DeltaLab in the early 80’s in manufacturing and service. If my memory serves me correctly, the Morley pedal was used only with the DL series components (e.g., DL-2, DL-4) and not the Effectron series line.
