G'day Chris.
Any idea what serial numbers we saw a change from tube to solid state circuits on the 1A3 program EQ unit?

Oh yeah, don't worry about the output amp . Just turn the volume up on your mixer or build a modern solid state amp around a TL071 etc..
Passive works just fine , just a little quiet.

Hey yes the single mini inductors work well.
I use them and have them in my home made units.

It is only wire wrapped around a ferrite core..... (flame time:-)

Many inductor based units from time ago used discrete inductors.
The multi-tap is probably due to custom values and labor / costs etc.. It is much quick and easier to use a single unit rather than a dozen different inductors.

With-out the inductors in the classic EQP it will act as a shelf-eq .
Experiment, the whole passive circuit can be built point to point on the pots alone!
