Hi Dean.  That is the rectifier tube: a GZ34.   There are also two 12AX7s on the rear bottom chassis (not visible from front) -these are the input stage and phase inverter.  BTW I just checked out yr site.  The swap meet/auction sounds fun, I hope to come see it this year.]]></description>
