Hey Nick,

I know this messaging thread is pretty old, but I figured I'd still ask. Are you still selling your CP60M? I'm in the market for one.

Thanks,

J. Greyshire

I recently had the misfortune of being on the road and having my Helpinstill64 Roadmaster stolen from.inside our tour van. After a little over 10 years of searching for one I could afford, I only was able to enjoy it for about a year before it was snatched. The bummer of having to use various backup keyboards for the rest of the tour was nothing compared to the sense of loss after spending so many years hunting for that little helpinstill beast. I DIDNT KNOW YAMAHA HAD ALMOST AN IDENTICAL yet slightly technically advanced, version in the CP-60M. And I hear they are a bit more abundantly around for knuckleheads like me that need one so badly

If anyone on here has one that's not getting played and exercised the way it should, please contact me if you would like to sell it to make room for something else I your home or studio.

I currently have a beautiful Suzuki G-33 Digital Baby Grand that I'll trade for a CP-60M. Or possibly a CP-80.

I have a CP60M.. Garage sale deal of the century! The guy was going to donate it to a school or somewhere if no one wanted to buy it off him... I offered all the money I had at the time.... 45$ and I loaded it up in a van with some friends... It's heavy of course.. The keybed folds into the chassis. The keys on it could probably use some work because they are a bit stiff. So, when you play it you have to use a bit of strength but the midi data tracks correctly and comes out real hot on velocity if you are just listening to the acoustic side while recording midi data. I have my Yamaha DX7 and TX7 combo on top of it and that makes things real interesting with all the midi splits and layers you can do. Then the two effects loops, built in tremolo, and EQ are great additions and performance fun with the push button enabling... I think one of the things about the CP60M is tuning the lower register. If I recall correctly, there is a tuning trick that makes it seem in tune do to the relation of the length of the lower strings and the chassis they are in.
