Although I don’t necessarily agree with super-aggressive enforcement of certain copyright laws, OR the fact that she tried to sue one of my favorite recording-artists after he released an affectionate tribute-song about her, I don’t want anyone to think that I am hating on Wendy Carlos. I too found it strangely off-putting that she’d go out of her way to put legal pressure on Le Grand Magistery without much of a case (i.e. song was not libelous at all.) As a Momus completest, I was forced to purchase a 2nd copy of Little Red Songbook. As far as I’m concerned, Wendy owes me $15.
