One reply on “Preservation Sound Radio: THE 80s PART 2 w/ Special Guests: ARCHIVE STREAMING NOW”

I inherited an Altec Giant Voice system from my Grandfathers night club after he passed away in 1996. I had two of the giant cabinets that were about five feet tall. They were in perfect condition when I got them, But unfortunately they were so big I never had room to store them or set them up. I got tired of moving them around. This was pre Craigslist, So no were to sell them either. They eventually got dismantled. The old stiff plywood was repurposed in to multiple Guitar Cabinets along with the Woofers. The horns were abandond and left to corode out side and eventually got recycled. Had I know about BurningMan I could have found them a good home.
